Bhagwant Mann of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) took oath as Punjab’s 25th Chief Minister from Khatkar Kalan, the village of Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh. On this occasion, while outlining his government’s priorities, he stated that every woman in Punjab would receive a monthly pension of Rs 1000. Additionally, he stated that 300 units of electricity will be distributed free of charge to the people of Punjab. Apart from that, he pledged to resolve farmers’ and businessmen’s problems expeditiously. At the oath ceremony held at Khatkar Kalan, the ancestral village of great freedom fighter Bhagat Singh in the Shaheed Bhagat Singh (SBS) Nagar district, Punjab Governor Banwarilal Purohit administered the oath of office and secrecy to Bhagwant Mann.

ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ (ਆਪ) ਦੇ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ-ਏ-ਆਜ਼ਮ ਭਗਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਖਟਕੜ ਕਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ 25ਵੇਂ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਵਜੋਂ ਸਹੁੰ ਚੁੱਕੀ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਤਰਜੀਹਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਹਰ ਔਰਤ ਨੂੰ 1000 ਰੁਪਏ ਮਹੀਨਾ ਪੈਨਸ਼ਨ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ 300 ਯੂਨਿਟ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਮੁਫ਼ਤ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਪਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਮੱਸਿਆਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਲਦੀ ਹੱਲ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਅਹਿਦ ਲਿਆ। ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਭਗਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨਗਰ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਘੁਲਾਟੀਏ ਭਗਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਜੱਦੀ ਪਿੰਡ ਖਟਕੜ ਕਲਾਂ ਵਿਖੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਹੁੰ ਚੁੱਕ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਪਾਲ ਬਨਵਾਰੀਲਾਲ ਪੁਰੋਹਿਤ ਨੇ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਅਹੁਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਭੇਦ ਗੁਪਤ ਰੱਖਣ ਦੀ ਸਹੁੰ ਚੁਕਾਈ।
Before the elections, the Aam Aadmi Party announced that if the party makes the government in the state, it will offer Rs. 1000 pension to every woman in the state. As the party came out as the winner in the elections, people are looking forward to the implementation of the AAP Women pension scheme. During the oath ceremony, CM Bhagwant Mann announced that Rs. 1000 pension scheme for women in Punjab will be implemented very soon.

Very soon, the concerned department is going to launch an official website of aap women’s pension scheme. This official portal will enable the online registration of beneficiaries.
